You can buy the System software packages at a Mac dealer for $49 or so. They include the manual and the four (or is it five now) disks. Now, to save a LOT of time (using the Mac installer can involve TONS of disk swapping) I would set up your system disks on a 'real' Mac with a hard drive and then copy the disks over to the AMAX format (unless you have a real Mac drive). I would install the disks using the "Minimum Mac Plus" scripts. This will save you space since the Color stuff and ADB managers won't get copied over. You will need to install your printer drivers and IF you plan on dumping Postcript for a LaserPrinter you will need the two laserwriter files (LaserWriter and LaserPrep). You can save further on disk space by using Font/DA Mover to rip unused/unneeded fonts out of the system file (the system stuff in a system file is only about 300K in 6.0.X, the rest is Fonts and DA's). Suitcase II is a good utility as it allows you to open fonts and DA's in files besides the system file, even on different disks. Well, nuff for now, Mark
