Law Students don't use computers! Message-ID: Date: 3 Feb 90 16:04:17 GMT Sender: Law School Discussion List Reply-To: Law School Discussion List Lines: 29 Approved: NETNEWS@AUVM Gateway I recently subscribed to your list. I was surprised to find that I didn't receive any mail in the first week. I now know why. It appears that law students don't use computers or at least mainframe computers that access Bitnet. I for one use computers and would like to be part of a list that discusses law student problems, questions etc. Additionally, I think your list should cover topics related to Computer Law since subscribers who bother to converse over your list probably are computer "people" who aspire to go to law school and possibly practice law in the Computer Law, Intellectual Property, or Patent Law area. I move ("legalese for suggest") that we open up this list to discuss the above mentioned topics so that this list will grow. Attorneys and law students who own computers and have access to mainframes probably are very interested in discussing current events regarding Computer Law, Intellectual Property and Patent Law. To get things rolling, I suggest that any attorney who subscribed to this list (as few as there may be on Bitnet) and law school professors (who probably are in greater numbers) throw up some current topics related to law school, or computer law et al. so this list can be a useful and entertaining medium. What do you think! Very Truly Yours, John Pinho Law Student, Seton Hall Law School Newark, New Jersey
