Regarding batch location changes made necessary by collection shifts:

At the University of Pittsburgh we have done much shifting of the
various collections, but have so far been able to accommodate patron
access by just changing the display location (lc106) not changing the
actual input code in the copy statement.  One table change will
take care of an entire collection.
