Here's the scenario: our public library puts new fiction in a temp location of ad,new that has a loan code of 14 days. When the temp location is put on, the status fields become protected. Later they remove the temp location. The item status remains protected -- which it should not do. The items are not charged. I remember an occasional problem of this type in 4.5, but usually charging and discharging the item would unprotect the status fields. This time it won't. Any ideas about this? ____ | | | |_____ Leigh Williams ---- *| Stephen F. Austin State University \___ | Nacogdoches, Texas (409) 568-1421 \ / \_ | \/ Leigh Williams
