We have a couple of workstations set up this way and we are beginning to suspect this might be the source of an old problem. We frequently get a "dequeue" error on our GTO device which causes the GTO device to lock up and we then have to do a warm boot to restart. Staff have noticed that the error seems to occur most often when someone is flipping the T-switch back and forth to print a record and then send it to GTO. I'm wondering if we're getting spurious data from the T-switch (we're actually using INMAC crossover switches with one port vacant). I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who is using a similar hardware configuration. Thanks.
