We are running Advanced NetWare 286, v.2.15 on an IBM model 80. We are using IBM token-ring cards on all workstations and we have everything from very old PC/XTs to PS/2 model 50s and 60s, along with this one model 30-286. I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has seen this or anything similar. Unfortuantely, I only have this one 30-286, so I don't know if the problem is particular to this workstation or this model in general. I've run the IBM workstation diagnostics and the token-ring adapter diagnostics and everything comes out clean. I seem to remember that IBM had problems with its token ring cards working in the 30-286. I think this is one of those problems. I think they have fixed the problem now and you should contact IBM for advice. -Al Marshall, Proteon
