We are using IBM Token Ring cards with a Novell file server, and I have been able to run Windows 386. Although the README.TXT file for Win 386 said it would not run properly with Novell, I found additional information for use with IBM Token Ring cards. I tried the configuration for Token ring cards, and everything seems to work properly. Here is the information directly from the windows/386 readme.txt file. The Token Ring network uses a data buffer in memory which interferes with Windows/386's support for expanded memory. To run with this network, you will have to do one of the following: 1. Disable expanded memory by setting the following value in the (win386) section of your win.ini file. emmsize=0 2. To use expanded memory, add the address of the network's RAM buffer to your win.ini file. The address is usually DC00 and in this case you would add the following line to the (win386) section of the win.ini file. lastemmseg=0DC00 Try playing with these setting...Good Luck.
