Seems it was like 3 legs of 20 feet of thick copper spaced at 15 degrees of seperation and joined at the end where you attach your ground wire ... A few inches below the ground. I don't know of a publication but I am told the Local police comm center has this setup .... took a direct HIT from lightening and there commercial VHF/UHF stuff kept working. John
