    Operational tasks will include starting and stopping the
    systems, performing backups, and installing and configuring
    system software.  Software support tasks will include
    installing acquired software packages and developing utility
    programs to meet local requirements.

    Secondary
    responsibilities relating to hardware will include
    overseeing maintenance of the facilities (initial problem
    diagnosis, shipment of the machinery to the hardware service
    organization, and reinstalling repaired machines) and
    miscellaneous interconnection of components, including
    asynchronous serial devices, Ethernet devices, and so on.

    The successful applicant for this position will hold a
    Master of Science degree in Computational Science 

And your systems programmers must hold a PhD, right? I'm scared
to ask what sort of qualifications the hardware guys need :-)
