	(TORONTO) Toronto Police and fire crews had to deal with a strange
accident early this morning. Police say a car crashed into a hydro pole
on Secord Avenue, in the Main-Danforth area. The pole fell over,
knocking five others down as well. 
	Hydro officials were at the scene, along with police. Live hydro
wires fell onto some houses on the street and a number of homes were
without power.
	The driver and passenger of the car ran off and police are treating
the accident as a hit and run.
