I would very much like to know what happened to the Alvey DHSS
Demonstrator project in the end. I'm fairly sure it didn't result in a
live system - but if that's true, what were the reasons? Technical,
organisational, social, bureaucratic or what? Can anyone who was
involved, or knows anybody who was, enlighten me at all? I'd be equally
grateful for references, though my suspicion is that it was one of those
stories that never really got into print.
