Summary: how can I clip lines wider than 1 pixel? Message-ID: <16539@boulder.Colorado.EDU> Date: 4 Feb 90 06:07:22 GMT References: <1990Feb3.223311.6383@jarvis.csri.toronto.edu> Sender: news@boulder.Colorado.EDU Reply-To: ewing@boulder.Colorado.EDU (EWING DAVID JAMES) Distribution: na Organization: University of Colorado, boulder Lines: 12 I was wondering if anyone out there has any references to line clipping for lines which are wider than one pixel. Actually, the lines may be made from brushes derived from a 16x16 bit pattern. You may have seen similar brushes in paint programs like MacPaint. What I'm wondering is how to do the clipping fast. I can generate a separate 1-bit wide line for each pixel in the brush, and clip each line separately, but this is too slow. Any help would be appreciated.
