The one I have CM> only supports EGA (I take it we're talking abou the same programme!) I haven't done much with the new version, but a quick perusal of the docs turns up no mention of GIF files at all. I think the author may have removed all support for GIFs. Support for Bitmaps is substantially expanded, though. The screen blanking feature has also been removed, and many new features have been added. It almost looks like a different program; maybe it is. I'm a little confused, though. The old version that I had (dated August 89) supported GIFs on VGA with no problems.
