Get a copy of the ISODE (ask Bug-ISODE@NISC.NYSER.NET for the details). If you want an example of a real use of X.500 to solve a real world problem (White Pages) with an understandable explanation, AND IF YOU HAVE INTERNET ACCESS then ftp to nisc.nyser.net and retrieve the file pilot/src/pilot-ps.tar.Z in BINARY mode. This contains several PostScript files relating to the NYSERNet/PSI White Pages Pilot Project which has been running since July of last year. If you do not have Internet access, your are out of luck.
