Get rid of the daughterboard and insert ROM inside, or replace daughterboard altogether. While it is VERY DECENT of them to offer to buy back your A-1000's for one last go-around (how many other companies have ever done this once, let alone twice), in some instances it may not be economically feasible. If you have lots of money tied up in expansion devices, it may not be worth it to upgrade to a 2000. However, if you have a stock 1000 and have been teetering on the edge of upgrading, then this is a pretty good deal. $999 plus your A-1000 for a 2000, and you can go with a higher system for a bit more money. George p.s. and for our next hack, a 1000 replacement keyboard :-) -- UUCP: ucqais.uc.edu!ggibeau BBS: (513) 721-7977 GT NODE: 006/005 US Snail-Dept of Biology ML 06, University of Cincinnati, Ohio 45221 ---I mean what I say, and I say what I mean------ -----BUT, not at the same time!
