Keywords: Amiga makes it in Publish! & Entertainment...sort of. Message-ID: <7049@sdcc6.ucsd.edu> Date: 6 Feb 90 11:27:21 GMT Sender: news@sdcc6.ucsd.edu Lines: 22 Amiga is popping up all over literature this month (FEB),,, here's my contribution of sightings: (Only two new ones) Look at Feb 1990 issue of Publish! (The magazine for desktop publishing--guess which compu they support=Fruit+PC) has a special coverage Multimedia presentation. In one article they list the three top desktop micro's for multimedia presentation from worst to best (PC->Mac->AMIGA!) and talks about various firms using different desktops. There's one architectural firm that's doing some flashy stuff with standard Amiga hardware/soft. While eating dinner in the dining commons (bleah!) Entertainment Tonight show'd clips of CinemaWare's "It Came From the Desert" (Amiga version of course!) and a laser video version of the same game. I tell, ya, I'm not a gamer, but when I played It Came.., I got HOOOKED! -Viet vho@ucsd.edu
