Some of us DO have some money tied up (read: locked up) in A1000 specific devices. Though I believe I can use my hard disk with an A2000 if'n I get a different controller? I have 2MB of external memory from Expansion Technologies, a Supra SCSI controller, and a Seagate 80M HD. How much of THAT can I use with a 2000? I had visions of (If I ever found the time and the gumption) to make an attempt at my own OS on the A1000, with my own kickstart. (I just thought about it, don't even know if'n that woulda been feasible.) Can't do that on a 2000 with a ROM. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Ah, Benson, you are so mercifully free of the ravages of intellegence!"
