This means that in the first section you have all of the odd bits (in the odd bit positions), and in the second section you have all of the even bits (also in odd bit positions). This is then 'clocked' and written out to the drive. An article on this very topic (and the source of my knowledge) was written by Betty Clay, and appears in V3 I1 of the Amiga Transactor. Stephen
