I am thinking of putting up NCAR graphics (the GKS version) on my
DN10000 running 10.1p.  I'm not planning to run X for a while.  I
have GPR, but have not put up GMR, though that would be possible
if necessary.
  I have a site licence and documentation for NCAR, but before 
wading through this morass of abysmally written stuff, I thought
I'd ask if anybody out there had any experience building this
library (and especially the graphics metafile viewer) for Domain.
How much trouble am I getting into?
   I have the 8-plane AT bus color graphics system, if that makes
a difference.  
   I don't especially like NCAR graphics, but the price is right.
If anybody has any suggestions for affordable alternatives, for
viewing 2D and 3D data, I'd be happy to hear about them.  Does
anybody have anything to say about Uniras?
