For example, I've been writing a GDOS program, and with Turbo Turbojet forgets which VDI write mode it's in whenever there isn't enough free memory in the system. This makes italic (skewed) text letter write over each other. I don't think that's how it's supposed to work even when the VDI _is_ in transparent mode.
