That doesn't mean they've gone :belly-up, that means they're alive and operating but gravely ill. True (re: Chap.11). I've had NO problems with Miniscribe drives; just be sure the box you buy isn't filled with a brick! :-) For those who aren't aware, Miniscribe was filling their drive boxes with actual bricks as part of their financial scam reporting higher sales than their mfg. manufactured. But, some of the drives ARE now difficult to locate. For example, CompuAdd used to carry the Miniscribe 3085 as recently as last December; their latest catalog no longer lists that drive.
