My friend brought over his older Bernouli 8" 20Meg drive, and it also would not 
work in the 12Mhz mode of my machine.  It would attempt to log to the drive,
but terminate with the "General Failure reading on Drive E:" message.  I am
interested in finding out if this is a limitation of the drive.
