I have worked a little bit with it. It retails for $999.00, but educational pricing should put it around $750.00 or better. It comes with 640K RAM, parallel & serial ports, a slot for an internal modem, 5 hour suggested battery life, 3.5 inch 720K diskette drive, 3 diskettes with MS-DOS and Tandy's DeskMate software, DOS on ROM along with the DeskMate wordprocessor, manuals, and a small AC adapter. Not a bad deal. I have not had much experience with the software. However, the screen is a most interesting blue on green combination that is very easy to read (CGA). It looks to be a rather nice product. George Brett, Asst. Director -- UNC Educational Computing Svc.
