I generally run my T1200H with the hard disk constantly powered up. I rarely use the floppy. I "always" run in high-speed mode. I have no extra memory board or built-in modem. I find that I get approximately the 2 hours that Battery Watch says my usage should get. I have a second battery pack that I carry with me. I almost never run out of power on *both* batteries. 2. The floppy controller in the T1200 machines is not capable of driving the 1.44MB floppy. I asked the same question on Compuserve a year ago. -- Ron Heiby, heiby@chg.mcd.mot.com Moderator: comp.newprod "She fell there." "A victim of Newton's Law, eh?"
