This has nothing to do with ATM. The LaserWriter driver, when sending output to a file, has no idea what fonts are available, and includes the PostScript version (if present) of any font that the document references. What would be more useful than a hack in ATM would be a checkbox (or yet another magic key sequence) in the LW driver that would tell it not to include fonts in the PostScript file.
