I print to a postscript file using the version 1.3 of the printmonitor, and version 5.2 and 6.0 of the LaserWriter. The postscript file is uploaded to a unic=x box (binary format), and I use macps to send it to the printer through the Adobe Transcript software. The header files are appropriately munged for this, I believe. Printing graphics from SuperPaint II and other programs, either directly or as inserted in MS Word 4.0 documents work well with the 5.2 LW software, as does printing straight text. Printing the graphics using the 6.0 LW software results in the printer aborting the output with the message %%[ Error: stackunderflow; OffendingCommand: exch ]%% %%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%% Printing text does not cause any problems. Any suggestions?
