I think that Earle Horton did the port (sorry if I'm wrong, Earle) and it was done well. I do not know the archive site that it's located at (I want it too!). It has not been meshed into the supported distribution of ME yet but the authors will probably do so by the next release. If you like VI instead, there is SteVIe, a VI clone. Source is available. I don't know if it's been ported to the Mac. Jon, I have MPW 3.1 and agree with you. I'm used to Brief on DOS and Crisp 1.9 on Unix and would choose Emacs over the MPW editor any day.
