And it's cheap! ] ] Buy American when I can, ] Alex Counting the wires on the ribbon cable, start with the end that has the colored stripe on it and call that wire #1. Then cut #9 and #20. If you are not sure what end to start with, look on the connectors for a small arrow. That should signify pin #1.
