Which means after uncountable phone-calls the real problems come up, such as: INSTALLING THE HARDDISK.... +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ We have CDC-Imprimis Drives with a unformatted capacity of 766 MB (works out to about 668 formatted). Now has anyone experience how to install these drives in a NeXT? Keywords: - tables to convert - how do I tell the system that it no longer has the 40Mb swap drive, as it has to be removed... - where can I find the relevant parts in the NeXT on- or offline documentation? - Has anyone a good idea how to partition such a disc? e.g. 256MB so that a single partition could be tar-ed to a optical, and then be used for copying? - Did anyone write by now a script or so to backup a big filesystem to multiple optical discs? Any help is greatly appreciated...
