However, I have no information on what parameters to use for dumping. In particular, I would like to know what to use for: b : # blocks/write (assuming 512 bytes/block) d : density in bpi s : tape length in feet /etc/dump has no defaults for 8mm tapes, and if I use the regular defaults, I will be greatly underusing the capacity of the drive.
