Has anyone made any tests/measurements to see whether SunOS 4.0.3c cc is
better or worse than the current version of SPARC gcc (1.36?)?  I am
interested in gut level feelings as well as more precise timings.  Has
anyone tried big systems like X11 or TeX with both compilers?  Please
mail, and, if there is interest, I will summarise to news.
