We have had some strange things happen to system mailboxes recently.

For example: A user sent a mail message, cc'd himself and when he checked
mail later, the message was there, but also attached to the end was a mail
message addressed to a different user. 

We have also seen similar situations where mail is being delivered and/or
received by the wrong users.

Any pointers?  Thanks in advance!
