I notice when loggin on vt01 - I am always prompted for the
terminal type (ie: TERM= ) yet it is defined in the .profile; 
yet if I use the same login on another virtual console, I am not
prompted for the TERM variable - and the one from the .profile
gets set in the environment.

Somehow I have vt01 set up as syscon - how do I change this?
