City, OK Lines: 23 I am running SCO UNIX 3.2 on a ATI VGA card and monochrome monitor I just got. I am having some problems I hope someone can help me with. BTW, I used to have a CGA and color monitor and didn't have any problems. Problem 1 - I thought I would be able to run the display in 43 line mode by using the vidi command and appropriate parameter. The only 43 line mode is for a EGA color monitor but I figured VGA will emulate EGA and what difference does color make to 43 lines? Well, it doesn't work under UNIX. It will go into 43 line mode under DOS. Does anyone have VGA running 43 line mode?, do I need a color monitor? Problem 2 - Codeview, which worked fine under CGA, blanks the screen on VGA with my monochrome monitor and won't display anything else. The keyboard still works so I can press Q to get out. The -B option to codeview doesn't help. Sequential mode works fine. Is there a problem with codeview and VGA or monochrome in screen mode? Thanks for any and all help! John C.
