We are having a problem returning the colors to the previous state after a 
window is killed.

we do a:
   XCreateColormap
   XSetWindowColormap
   XStoreColors

when we exit we do:
   XFreeGC
   XDestroyWindow
   XCloseDisplay

any ideas?  I don't believe it is a window manager problem, but twm is 
being used...
