Lines: 16 I have a problem with a newly installed 386/ix system on a Compaq 386/25. The problem is that when I exit X-windows, the monitor is not reset properly, so all I see is a blank screen even though the system is still running. If I run xinit, everything is fine once X starts back up. There's no kbd_mode command on this system, so I need some other way of resetting the monitor. I'm using a Paradise VGA Plus16 card, and an NEC MultiSync GS2A monitor; I called ISC tech support, but they weren't much help. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
