The location of the 'backspace' and 'delete' keys is such that I prefer to use the 'backspace' key to delete text rather than the 'delete' key itself. I have accomplished this in the shell region with my .cshrc file but still haven't found a way to do so in emacs. I have noticed though that 'backspace' translates to ^H which brings up the help. 'Delete' translates to ^?. I will be grateful to netters for their suggestions and comments. --Arjun. kondaman@castor.usc.edu@usc.edu 213-746-1151 (evening) 213-743-2666 (day) Don't go around saying the world owes you a living.
