Hank, Sounds like the problem that we fell over 2 years ago, and probably most non-sna users of tcp/ip. To make use of the *CCS interface used by line-mode telnet you need to ENABLE SNA (or ENABLE ALL). I spent about two full days wondering why it wouldn't work when it had the week before. It turned out that someone had replace an ENABLE ALL with selective ENABLEs. In desparation I submitted an append to VMSHARE and back came the response.
