Brian, TC means Total Communication.  Most of us who are hearing impaired 
would like to see this used with both signing, speech reading and oralism.
I'd like to see all HI individuals mingle together with the REAL society 
rather than stay in their own little world and all of us communicate
without any barriers.
As Jack O'Keeffe stated earlier, some of those groups are more like 
"deaf cults" than living in "deaf culture communities"....
