TC is Total Communication.  It is a method invented and used by the 
schools for the deaf.  This method consists of both pidgen sign language 
and speech simultaneously.  Pidgen sign language is like both ASL 
and Exact English signing in English structure order.  Again, Pidgen 
is not a real language as it was also invented by educational authorities. 
However, Deaf people also use it as a mode of communication with hearing 
signers and in schools.
 
Well, hope this answers your question.  As for scuba diving, how about 
trying fingerspellings and some one hand signs?  If you need more 
info about those one hand signs, I'll describe those movements for 
you. OK?
