If you intend too use a laser to cut tiles, you're going to need 80-100K in
cash, a lot of room and some know-how in operating them.  An ion laser
that can put out say 30 watts (80K from Coherent) will have a hard time
cutting tiles, but could do it eventually.  Ceramic is pretty tuff.
Edmund Scientific is more of a novelty scientific supply company, they 
probably sell HeNe's, but that's about all.
