Second, has anyone noticed the lack of missions for Columbia between mission 45 (4-4-91) and mission 53 (3-5-92) ?? Are they planning to do an overhaul on her during this time finally or what ?? It is a little tough to swallow that they're going to take 11 months just to turn it around from the ATLAS mission. I'm guessing some sort of overhaul because mission 53 looks like it will be the longest mission yet (13 days) and they'll want it in top shape to prevent problems. Also, 45 will be the TENTH anniversary of Columbia's first flight. What are the odds on getting Young and Crippen up there for the party? I see the Mission Commander and Pilot slots are STILL OPEN. ;-) dates to remember- (2-13-92) ENDEAVOUR (3-9-95) Freedom Element-1 launch -- DMB
