Not more than 15 minutes ago I typed: giftoppm jiffy.gif | ppmtopgm | pgmtopbm | pbmtorast | screenload to view it on my b/w Sun, and then with some smoke and mirrors to rescale and rotate it: giftoppm jiffy.gif | pnmcrop | ppmscale -xsc 1.67 | pnmflip -cw | ppmtopgm | pgmnorm | pgmtops -s 1.25 | lpr to drop it out onto the laser.
