The protein is removed in a precipitation step (saturated NaCl) instead of phenol/chloroform extraction. We ran it along side of a p/c extraction from whole blood and lymph nodes (chopped), and found yeilds and purity identical, and found that we had much less problems with restriction of dna with the non-organic dna's. No more phenol, hurray! Let me know if you need more info, or call Oncor at 301-963-3500. -- dan __________________________________________________________________________ Disclaimer: My opinion means | 'If you only knew how much I was holding nothing, but His | back, you would commend me' means everything.| - Charles Spurgeon, 19th century | evangelist (on humor in preaching)
