That is the first XTC that I heard... and now, when I'm getting the original albums, it's very strange to hear the 'original' versions of these songs, which are quite different from the way I grew to know and love them... For example, "Towers of London (on *Black Sea*) has got some extra crunch, and an extra guitar solo or two, on the 'original'. By the way, I heard on the XTC list (chalkhills@presto. ig.com or something like that) that Virgin is considering re- releasing *Compact XTC* in the US sometime in late spring... good news, I suppose... but I spent $20 for the import in December... -- Mark
