Hello.  Some of you may recognize my name from Belief-L.  For those
who don't, let me give you a brief background of myself.

I was raised Catholic and attended a Catholic grade school and high school.
I began questioning the Catholic beliefs - or at least what I was taught
as Catholic beliefs - and soon discovered that Christianity in general
was not for me.  I considered myself agnostic/atheist, leaning more
towards the athiest point of view.  However, within the past year or so
I have decided to begin a search for my own true beliefs.

What are my beliefs so far?  Well, right now I do not necessarily believe
in a Supreme Being - at least not the same one as the Catholics.  I do
believe in a spiritual plane, and I also believe it is possible to contact
these spirits.

I take a liking to the following lines:

Every man and every woman is a star.
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
Love is the Law; Love under Will.

Right now you're probably asking yourself, "why is someone who is into
Crowley on the Christian list?"  Well, I have decided to re-evaluate
Christianity.  I am going to re-read the Bible - not from a Catholic
point of view, but from my point of view.  I am also going to read the
"missing" books of the Bible, as well as other stuff, such as the Talmud,
Eastern works and occult materials.  Perhaps after reading and reflecting
I will find my true self and my true beliefs.
