I think the TX802 is also discontinued and they seem to be pushing cheaper models. They had a users magazine which they turned over to someone else. I have the TX802 and it sounds good, and is very flexible for someone who is self producing, and has a lot of good features that may interest people who arent going to be producing pop, such as microtones.
