    I have Nethack with patch level 6 for the VAX. I am having trouble with
two things. First, The high scores arent saved! Everytime I play I come out as
number 1 and it doesnt display any of the other scores. Next I am having trouble
    letting other people play. I have tried setting all the protections to RWED
   on
every file including the top directory but it still aborts!

Any Suggestions???
