I was no aware of what the actual numbers were. I received a response from Tolga Bayik, from Turkey questioning my reasoning for wanting to know this, and not how many Turks have not been killed by Armenians. 1) I wanted to know because this was a pogrom organized by the Turkish government--not the same as cultural infighting which goes on in Turkey today and in parts of the Soviet Union. 2) Tolga's answer was irrelevant because he didn't answer the question-- but rather let his own nationalist feelings get in the way. I asked the question from an historical prespective, and his answer was not to the question. His reply is an issue worth dealing with, but not what I had asked.
