He was given what I thought were reasonable answers aand books were suggested for further information. Then he used, and continues to use, the list's time to ask why these millios were killed and why nobody knows about it. While I do not wish to send flames directly to Mr. O'Connor, his questions are a perfect example of my complaint. I understood this list to be a discussion among people not only interested in but knowledgeable about history. I wish folks would spend a little study time of their own rather than asking others to do their work for them. In that way the tone of the list is raised substantially. For example, if Mr. O'Connor would skim the books suggested his questions would lose their naive flavor and the rest of us might not only find the discussion more interesting but we all might learn something. I find Mr. Cerny's responses endlessly patient. Thank you for the good example and I apologize for not following it. Kathy Morrison 13 February l990
